Rooms disclaimer
Wonders Beach & MyMauritiusHotel carries out regular improvements to its existing accommodation and therefore room facilities or room layout of the reserved room may be different from the displayed photo.
Tourist Fee (as from 1st October 2025)
Starting 1st October 2025, Mauritius will introduce a Tourist Fee of EUR 3 per night, applicable to each visitor staying in designated accommodations such as hotels, guesthouses, tourist residences, and private estates.
The tax is not included in the room rates and must be settled directly on site by the guest upon check-in.
An exemption will apply to:
- Children under 12 years old
- Local and residents
- Mauritians living abroad and possessing a Mauritian passport
- Any holder of a valid Premium Visa
- Any holder of a valid Residence Permit

- In order to secure online payments in EURO, the beachcomber hotels website uses the internationally recognized PayPal secure payment system, which incorporates the SSL (Secure Locket Layer) security protocol.
The payment interface also makes use of 3-D-Secure technology. Designed by Visa and MasterCard, this system authenticates cardholders and prevents fraudulent use of their bank cards. The 3-D-Secure system automatically redirects you to a bank interface where a code or personal piece of information provided separately by the bank must be entered after the card number, expiry date and cryptogram have been provided. Once authenticated, the transaction is then either authorized or declined by the bank.
- In order to secure online payments in USD, AUD, GBP and MUR, Wonders Beach & MyMauritiusHotel website uses MIPS secure payment system, which incorporates the SSL (Secure Locket Layer) security protocol.
All confidential data (16-digit card number, expiry date and cryptogram) are transmitted directly in encrypted format to the payment gateway servers (of PayPal without ever passing through any physical device within the Beachcomber Hotels server system.
Once the bank details are validated, the secure payment management systems send an authorization request to the bank card network.
The remote payment system then delivers an electronic certificate. In accordance with the provisions of articles 1316 et seq. of the French Civil Code, the electronic certificate shall serve as proof of the transaction date and amount and will be kept in the proper archives set up by Wonders Beach & MyMauritiusHotel. Dates and times contained on the server shall serve as official records for the parties.
Kindly note that making an online payment implies that you are fully authorized to use the bank card provided for payment and that you have sufficient funds to cover the total cost of the transaction.
For all transactions, payment of the booking shall constitute signature and express acceptance of the sale with all that is included in the price.

Partial cancellation fees:

- The cancellation is received 80 days prior the group's arrival and if it concerns 10% (or more) of the total number of rooms confirmed
- 30% cancellation fees will be charged if:
- The cancellation is received between 79 days and 36 days prior to the group's arrival and if it concerns 6% (or more) of the total number of rooms confirmed
- 40% cancellation fees will apply for any cancellation received between 35 days and 20 days prior to the group's arrival
- 80% cancellation fees will apply for any cancellation received between 19 days and 4 days prior to the group's arrival
- Cancellation of any service already paid by the hotel will be charged
Full cancellation fees
- 100% cancellation fees will be charged:
- For any cancellation received less than 4 days prior to the group's arrival
- in case of 'No Show’
Cancellation fees are applicable on room rates, meal supplements and offers as well as on any other package which has been prepaid.

In case of “no show” The Company will charge the applicable cancellation fees (depending on the seasonality).
Clients arriving on delayed flights but leaving on scheduled date of departure :
The hotel will refund the ‘unused nights’.
Clients arriving on delayed flights but spending the number of nights originally booked at the hotel (i.e. leaving later)
The hotel will charge for the whole stay with no compensation.
Clients arriving on schedules date but extending their stay at the hotel due to non-operating flights :
Our guest will have the guarantee to be hosted in a Wonders Beach Hotel (as per availability). If hotel offered is different from the initial hotel, transfer will be at client’s charge. The hotel will charge a flat Half-board rate for the extra nights (to be paid by TO or by client directly at hotel before departure). Nightly flat rate will be as follows:

Cyclone conditions for Mauritian residents
- No discount will be granted to guests staying at hotel during a cyclone.
- No cancellation fee for stays cancelled up to 3 days prior to arrival.
Flexibility Offer (Report of stays)
- Applicable for all stays within period from 9 January 2026 to 31 March 2026
- Report of stays (within the next 9 months) will be possible until D-1 (without any justification)
- Clients who change up their mind between D-7 and D-1 and wish to amend their dates of stay within the next 9 months, will get a “room night credit”, i.e. they will be able to change their dates of stay for the same number of nights - if the new dates are less expensive, they will not get a refund and if the stay is more expensive they will need to pay a supplement.
- Cancellation policy for clients who have reported their stay (between D-7 and D-1 of their check-in date) will result in the 100% charge of the total booking amount.
